Job Title Manager MIS
Job Description 1. Will be responsible for the upkeep of all Application Software (packaged and custom developed) within the organization.
2. Manager MIS will liaise and coordinate with the users and the management to provide software solutions that meets the business needs.
3. Prioritize IT projects and optimally allocate resources thereto within the framework of the annual capital budget.
4. Assess user’s information needs at enterprise level and evolve IT based solutions to support enterprise wide business and decision-making requirements.
5. Ensure the continuous delivery and operation of integrated information systems including appropriate Business Intelligence solutions.
6. Serve and participate proactively with other members of the senior management team in developing and executing strategic IT plans to optimize the use of information technology in support of business objectives through in-house resources and beneficial external partnering.
7. Enforce protocols for project management; follow SDLC protocols, systems documentation and maintenance and systems integrity.
8. Develop and maintain enterprise systems architecture, defining standards and protocols for data exchange, communications, software, and interconnection of all network information systems.
9. Provide responsive advice, counsel, education and service to all system users concerning IT issues.
10. Support security aspects of the IT framework and readiness for disaster management.
11. Manager MIS will liaise and coordinate with the IT Infrastructure team in the development and rollout of applications.
12. Perform any other functions assigned by the IT Consultant or Chief Executive Officer.
Skills Required The Manager MIS should possess the following skills:
1. Good Functional and Technical knowledge of Oracle EBS R12 and sound knowledge of Oracle 11g Database Management
2. Must have sound knowledge of software development under the Oracle or Microsoft framework
3. Should posses good leadership skills and have a proven track record of managing a software team
4. Ability to work with members of other discipline
5. Must have skills to handle outsourced projects and deal with suppliers/vendors
Education and/or Qualifications Minimum: Bachelor in Computer Science
Preferred: Master in Computer Science or MBA (MIS)
Experience Minumim: 2 years
Maximum: 5-7 years
Salary Range (PKR) Market compatible
